Description

The Cat INV2000 has an OHV 4-stroke engine that is 79.7 cc. It gives out 120V, runs on gasoline, and has a running wattage of 1,800W and a peak wattage of 2,250W. This inverter generator has a noise level of 52 dBA, which is just a little louder than a refrigerator. It starts up with a traditional pull-start mechanism.   • We compared more than 500 portable generators at 50% load. We found that there is “skewed right” distribution for the difference between 50% load and 25% load and the median comes at 1.43. With this number we converter all the 25% load runtime to 50% load. Same with the propane efficiency, where median is 1.38.

Description

The Genmax GM2200i has a 79.7 cc Dinking OHV 4-stroke engine that gives off 120V, uses gasoline, and puts out 1,800W while running and 2,200W at its peak. Also, since it can work in parallel (but doesn’t come with a parallel kit), its power can be doubled by connecting it to a second unit that works with it. The noise level of the inverter generator is 58 dBA, which is quieter than rain. It is started with a pull-start mechanism. With a gallon of gas, the GM2200i can run for up to 8 hours (fuel consumption is approximately 0.13 GPH). The GM2200i makes a clean sine wave. With a Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) of less than 3%, you can safely plug your sensitive electronics into the AC outlets.

On the control panel, there are two 120V 20A duplex outlets (5-20R). It also has 2 DC outlets: there are two 5V USB ports (USB-A) that make it easy to charge devices like cell phones and tablets.

Features

Several lights let you know when the generator is too busy, when the oil level is too low, and when it’s ready to go.
