Description
The A-iPower SUA15000EC’s core is the 680 cc (24 hp) Senci V-Twin engine, which runs on gasoline. With an output of 120/240V, it provides a running wattage of 12,000W and a peak wattage of 15,000W. With a noise rating of 85 dBA (just slightly more noisy than garbage disposal), the generator features a convenient and easy-to-use electric starter (battery included) (battery included). With a full tank, the SUA15000EC can operate for around 7 hours at 0.5 load (fuel consumption is approximately 1.14 GPH), thanks to its fuel capacity of 8 gallons.
Outlets
The control panel has 5 AC outlets: a 120V 20A (5-20R) GFCI outlet, a 120V 30A (L5-30R) outlet, a 120/240V 30A (L14-30R) outlet, and a 120/240V 50A (14-50R) outlet. It also has 1 DC outlet, which is a 12V 8A receptacle that looks like a cigarette lighter. This makes it easy to charge your batteries. Even though this A-iPower generator isn’t quite RV-ready, an L5-30P to TT-30R adapter makes it easy to connect it to an RV. The SUA15000EC is also ready for a transfer switch because it has a twist-lock L14-30R receptacle. You can connect it to a breaker box to power your home when the power goes out.
Features
The SUA15000EC’s control panel has a handy meter that shows voltage, frequency, and lifetime hours so you can keep an eye on its status and activity. In addition to this information, the featured light indicator will let you know when the oil level is too low. The generator has a built-in fuel gauge that makes it quick, easy, and convenient to check how much gas is in the machine. From a safety point of view, the product has a circuit breaker for overload protection and an automatic shut-off for low oil, so you can use it without worry. The A-iPower SUA15000EC comes with oil, a tool kit, and battery charging cables, as well as the usual documentation and an owner’s manual to get you up and running quickly.
Mobility
The A-iPower SUA15000EC is made with a typical open frame that measures L38.7 x W26.8 x H34.9 in, This frame gives it support and stability and lets it be raised above ground level. The generator is built to work well outside and in rough places. The generator is technically “portable” in the sense that it can be moved, but at 392 pounds, it may be hard to move it by hand. Once it’s on the ground, though, its wheel kit (dia:4 “) can easily fix the problem of limited mobility and make it easy to move the device. A lift hook on the top of the frame adds another layer of safety and makes it easier to move, load, and unload the generator.

- We compared more than 500 portable generators at 50% load. We found that there is “skewed right” distribution for the difference between 50% load and 25% load and the median comes at 1.43. With this number we converter all the 25% load runtime to 50% load. Same with the propane efficiency, where median is 1.38.
- For some generators where propane runtime was not given, we used NIST 1994 GGE (Gasoline Gallon Equivalent) formula: 5.66 lbs. of propane = 1 gal of gasoline. All propane runtime is for 20 lbs. propane tank (4.7 gallons).
- Unlike many other sites, we actually tried to find out information about each of the above requirements. However, we are human and are therefore capable of the odd oversight or mistake. Please let us know if you spot any missing or erroneous values so that we can fix them.
About the Manufacturer
A-iPower is a small American company that is new to the generator market. There are engines, water pumps, pressure washers, and, of course, generators in their line of products. A-iPower has both traditional and inverted portable generators, and many of them can be started with an electric starter. The company has several buildings, including a distribution center in Wisconsin and its headquarters in California. But all of their devices are made in China, which is a country they have never been to.
Warranty Information
A warranty covers the A-iPower SUA15000EC for up to 2 years. This warranty may not cover all parts of the generator or may only cover certain parts. A-iPower generators come with a warranty that you can find out more about by calling A-iPower Customer Support at 1-855-888-3598. Check A-ipower Website for more information.
