Description
The A-iPower SUA2000i has an 80cc Senci OHV 4-stroke engine that puts out 120V, runs on gasoline, and puts out 1,600W while running and 2,000W at its peak. Also, since it can work in parallel and comes with a parallel kit, its power can be doubled if it is connected to a second unit that works with it. The noise level of the inverter generator is set at 58 dBA (The noise level is lower than that of a refrigerator). It has a pull-start mechanism, which is a common way to start a motor. The SUA2000i can run for up to 10 hours on a full tank (using about 0.11 GPH of fuel per hour), thanks to its 1.1 gallon fuel tank. As the SUA2000i makes a clean sine wave with a Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) of 3%, you can safely plug sensitive electronics into the AC outlets.
Outlets
The control panel has two AC outlets: one for 120V 20A (5-20R) and one for 120V 30A (L5-30R). Also, it has 1 DC outlet: a 12V 8A receptacle that looks like a cigarette lighter. This makes it easy to charge your batteries. This A-iPower generator isn’t quite RV Ready, but it has an L5-30R receptacle that makes it easy to hook it up to an RV with an L5-30P to TT-30R adapter (included).
Features
Light indicators will let you know when the generator is overloaded, when its oil level is too low, and when it is ready to be used. The inverter generator has a built-in fuel gauge that makes it quick, easy, and convenient to find out how much gas is in it. For safety, the generator has an overload protection (circuit breaker) and an automatic low oil shut-off, so you can use it without worrying. The A-iPower SUA2000i comes with more than just the usual paperwork and an owner’s manual to get you up and running quickly. Included are an RV adapter, a funnel, and cables for charging the batteries.
Mobility
The A-iPower SUA2000i is an inverter generator. It has a case that is L19.3 in, x W11.4 in, x H19 in, So, it looks better than most other products with open frames. The design fits with what’s popular now and is perfect for generating power for fun. The SUA2000i is a lightweight portable generator because it only weighs 48.5 pounds. A single person should be able to move it around easily and get power wherever they go. The handle, which is built into the case, is also helpful because it makes it easy to carry.

- We compared more than 500 portable generators at 50% load. We found that there is “skewed right” distribution for the difference between 50% load and 25% load and the median comes at 1.43. With this number we converter all the 25% load runtime to 50% load. Same with the propane efficiency, where median is 1.38.
- For some generators where propane runtime was not given, we used NIST 1994 GGE (Gasoline Gallon Equivalent) formula: 5.66 lbs. of propane = 1 gal of gasoline. All propane runtime is for 20 lbs. propane tank (4.7 gallons).
- Unlike many other sites, we actually tried to find out information about each of the above requirements. However, we are human and are therefore capable of the odd oversight or mistake. Please let us know if you spot any missing or erroneous values so that we can fix them.
About the Manufacturer
A-iPower, a small US-based business, is a new player in the generator industry. They sell engines, water pumps, pressure washers, and of course generators as part of their product line. Numerous conventional and inverted portable generators, many of which feature an electric starter, are available from A-iPower. The business has a number of locations, including a distribution hub in Wisconsin and a headquarters in California. But the entire manufacturing of their products is outsourced to China.
Warranty Information
A warranty covers the A-iPower SUA2000i for up to 3 years. This warranty may not cover all parts of the generator or may only cover certain parts. A-iPower generators come with a warranty that you can find out more about by calling A-iPower Customer Support at 1-855-888-3598. Check A-ipower Website for more information.
