Description
The 212 cc OHV 4-stroke engine of the Energizer eZV3500P runs on gasoline and can put out 120V. It has a running power of 3,000W and a maximum power of 3,500W. Also, since it can work in parallel (the INVEZVPLKIT is not included), its power can be doubled by connecting it to a second unit that works with it. The noise level of the inverter generator is 57 dBA, which is less than a quiet suburb. It has a pull-start mechanism and a simple and elegant electric starter (battery included). The eZV3500P can be started from afar, which makes it even more convenient (key fob included). With a full tank, the eZV3500P can run for up to 15.5 hours (using about 0.13 GPH of fuel). This is because it can hold 1.95 gallons of fuel. As the eZV3500P makes a clean sine wave with a Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) of 3%, you can safely plug sensitive electronics into the AC outlets.
Outlets
The control panel has 3 AC outlets: a duplex 120V 20A (5-20R) receptacle, a 120V 30A (L5-30R) receptacle, and a 120V 20A (5-20R) receptacle. It also has 3 DC outlets: two 5V USB ports for charging devices like phones or tablets, and a 12V 5A receptacle for charging batteries. Even though this Energizer generator isn’t quite RV Ready, its L5-30R receptacle makes it easy to connect to an RV with an L5-30P to TT-30R adaptor.
Features
The eZV3500P’s control panel has a digital data center that helps you keep track of its status and activity by telling you how many hours it has been running for. In addition to this information, the light indicators will let you know when the oil level is too low, when the generator is overloaded, and when it is ready to use. The inverter generator has a built-in fuel gauge that makes it quick, easy, and convenient to check how much gas it has. For safety, the generator has an automatic low oil shut-off and an overload protection (circuit breaker), so you can use it without worrying. The Energizer eZV3500P comes with the usual paperwork and an owner’s manual , which lets you start using it right away. It also comes with battery charging cables, a funnel, a tool kit, and a key fob.
Mobility
Since the Energizer eZV3500P is an inverter generator, its enclosed design (L22.8 x W16.7 x H17.5 in) looks better than a traditional open frame product. The design shown here is in line with the latest trends and is great for easy and fun use. The 96-pound weight of the eZV3500P makes it easy to take it anywhere. Also, once it is on the floor, it is easy to move because it has two wheels and a handle that folds up.

- We compared more than 500 portable generators at 50% load. We found that there is “skewed right” distribution for the difference between 50% load and 25% load and the median comes at 1.43. With this number we converter all the 25% load runtime to 50% load. Same with the propane efficiency, where median is 1.38.
- For some generators where propane runtime was not given, we used NIST 1994 GGE (Gasoline Gallon Equivalent) formula: 5.66 lbs. of propane = 1 gal of gasoline. All propane runtime is for 20 lbs. propane tank (4.7 gallons).
