Description
The 459 cc Senci SC460 OHV 4-stroke engine of the A-iPower SUA13000EFI runs on gasoline and can put out 120/240V. It has a running power of 10,000W and a maximum power of 13,000W. The noise level of this generator is 69 dBA, which is less than a normal conversation. It can be started with a pull-start or a simple and elegant electric starter (battery included). The Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system makes the engine more reliable, uses less fuel, starts better, needs less maintenance, works better with stale fuel, and works better at higher altitudes. The SUA13000EFI can run for about 8.5 hours at 0.5 load on a full tank and 6.6 gallons of fuel (fuel consumption is approximately 0.78 GPH).
Outlets
There are 6 AC outlets on the control panel: two 120V 20A (5-20R) GFCI duplexes, a 120/240V 30A (L14-30R) receptacle, and a 120/240V 50A (14-50R) receptacle. It also has 1 DC outlet, which is a 12V 8A receptacle that looks like a cigarette lighter and makes it easy to charge batteries. Since it has a 14-50R outlet, this A-iPower unit is ready for an RV with a 50-amp service if you have an RV with 50-amp service. The SUA13000EFI is also transfer switch ready because it has a twist-lock L14-30R receptacle. You can easily connect it to your breaker box to power your home when the power goes out.

The SUA13000EFI’s control panel has a digital data center that tells you how many hours it has been running for so you can keep track of its status and activity. In addition to this information, a light lets you know right away if the oil level is too low. The generator has a built-in fuel gauge that makes it easy to see at a glance how much gas is in the tank. When it comes to safety, this product has a circuit breaker for overheating and an automatic shut-off for low oil, so you can use it without any worries. It also has a sensor for carbon monoxide. This sensor is meant to measure the amount of carbon monoxide in the air while the generator is running. If the generator isn’t set up right and carbon monoxide levels get too high, the generator will turn off by itself. It’s a nice extra safety measure, but don’t forget to take your generator outside at all times. The A-iPower SUA13000EFI comes with the standard paperwork and an owner’s manual, which will help you get the device up and running quickly. The A-iPower SUA13000EFI has a standard, open frame that measures L28 x W21 x H22.8 in, This frame gives it support and lets it be raised above the ground. The device was made to work well in harsh conditions and in the great outdoors. Even though this device is technically portable (meaning it can be moved), it weighs 218 pounds and can be hard to move and use without special tools. - We compared more than 500 portable generators at 50% load. We found that there is “skewed right” distribution for the difference between 50% load and 25% load and the median comes at 1.43. With this number we converter all the 25% load runtime to 50% load. Same with the propane efficiency, where median is 1.38.
- For some generators where propane runtime was not given, we used NIST 1994 GGE (Gasoline Gallon Equivalent) formula: 5.66 lbs. of propane = 1 gal of gasoline. All propane runtime is for 20 lbs. propane tank (4.7 gallons).

A-iPower is a small American company that is new to the generator market. There are engines, water pumps, pressure washers, and, of course, generators in their line of products. A-iPower has both traditional and inverted portable generators, and many of them can be started with an electric starter.
