Description
The 79 cc (2.7 hp) Energizer OHV 4-stroke engine on the Energizer eZV2000S, which runs on gasoline, can put out 120V. It has a running power of 1,600W and a maximum power of 2,000W. The pull-start mechanism on the inverter generator is simple and old-fashioned. It can make up to 50 dBA of noise (just as noisy as a quiet suburb). With a full tank, the eZV2000S can run for up to 11.5 hours on its 0.9-gallon fuel tank (fuel consumption is approximately 0.08 GPH). The eZV2000S makes a clean sine wave with a Total Harmonic Distortion of 2%, so it’s safe to plug sensitive electronics into AC outlets (THD). This low THD is made possible by Energizer’s Dual Wave Technology, which controls both voltage and current to make a pure sine wave output, no matter how much load is on the device.
Outlets
The control panel has the following two AC outlets: Duplex 120V 20A (5-20R).
Also, it has 3 DC outlets, including a 12V 5A receptacle that makes it easy to charge batteries and two 5V USB ports that make it easy to charge devices like cell phones or tablets.
Features
The lights tell you if the generator is ready, if it doesn’t have enough oil, or if it’s working too hard.
When it comes to safety, this product has an automatic low oil shut-off and an overload protection (circuit breaker), so you can use it without worry.
The Energizer eZV2000S comes with basic instructions and an owner’s manual to help you start the generator quickly.
It also comes with a funnel and a tool kit, among other things.
Mobility
The encased inverter generator design of the Energizer eZV2000S (L20.1 x W11 x H17.7 in) makes it look better than any ordinary open frame product.
The generator has a modern look and is easy to use when generating power for fun.
The eZV2000S is a portable lightweight generator because it only weighs 44 lbs.
Since one person can move it without much trouble, the generator and its power can be used anywhere.
The handle built into the case makes it even easier to carry.

- We compared more than 500 portable generators at 50% load. We found that there is “skewed right” distribution for the difference between 50% load and 25% load and the median comes at 1.43. With this number we converter all the 25% load runtime to 50% load. Same with the propane efficiency, where median is 1.38.
- For some generators where propane runtime was not given, we used NIST 1994 GGE (Gasoline Gallon Equivalent) formula: 5.66 lbs. of propane = 1 gal of gasoline. All propane runtime is for 20 lbs. propane tank (4.7 gallons).
- Unlike many other sites, we actually tried to find out information about each of the above requirements. However, we are human and are therefore capable of the odd oversight or mistake. Please let us know if you spot any missing or erroneous values so that we can fix them.
About the Manufacturer
Energizer Holdings, Inc., a company that was established in 1896, is best known for producing Energizer, Varta, Rayovac, and Eveready batteries.
However, Energizer has worked in a variety of industries over the course of its existence, including power generation.
Most of the power generators offered by Energizer Brands LLC, a division of Energizer Holdings, Inc., are portable and come in both conventional and inverted designs.
Although their manufacturing is outsourced to other countries, all Energizer generators are designed and supported in North America.
Warranty Information
The warranty for the Energizer eZV2000S lasts for up to 3 years.
This warranty may not cover all parts of the generator or may only cover certain parts.
