Description
The powerful and versatile Firman H03652 gives off 120V thanks to its dual-fuel technology. Even though it runs on gasoline, it has a running wattage of 3,650W and a peak wattage of 4,550W. It runs on propane and has a rated power of 3300 watts and a starting power of 4100 watts. The generator has a noise level of 67 dBA, which is less than an office. It is started with a simple pull-start mechanism. With a 5 gallon fuel tank, the H03652 can run for about 14 hours at 0.5 load on a full tank of gasoline (fuel consumption is approximately 0.36 GPH). If propane is used, it can run for about 11 hours (on a 20 lbs tank – propane consumption around 0.43 GPH). Since the H03652 has a THD of about 25%, it shouldn’t be used to power devices that are sensitive to noise.
Outlets
On the control panel, there are 4 AC outlets for: Duplex 120V 20A (5-20R) GFCI; 120V 30A (L5-30R) receptacle; 120V 30A (TT-30R) receptacle. The TT-30R plug on this Firman generator is ready for an RV. TT stands for “Travel Trailer”.
Features
On the control panel of the H03652, there is a handy meter that shows voltage, frequency, and lifetime hours. This makes it easier to keep track of its status and activity. The generator has a built-in fuel gauge that makes it quick, easy, and convenient to check how much gas is in it. In terms of safety, the generator can be used without worry because it has a circuit breaker for overheating and an automatic shut-off when the oil level gets too low. The Firman H03652 comes with the usual paperwork and an owner’s manual , which lets you start it right away. It also comes with a funnel, oil, a tool kit, and a propane hose.
Mobility
The Firman H03652 has a traditional, open frame that measures L25.7 x W21.8 x H21.6 in, This frame gives it support and lets it be lifted off the ground. This type of design is great for tough environments and heavy outdoor use. The generator weighs 113 pounds, so it may be hard to move or transport it by hand, even though it is technically a “portable” generator (movable). Still, once it is on the ground, its 8-inch-diameter wheel kit and folding handle can easily solve the problem of low mobility and make it easy to move the device.

- We compared more than 500 portable generators at 50% load. We found that there is “skewed right” distribution for the difference between 50% load and 25% load and the median comes at 1.43. With this number we converter all the 25% load runtime to 50% load. Same with the propane efficiency, where median is 1.38.
- For some generators where propane runtime was not given, we used NIST 1994 GGE (Gasoline Gallon Equivalent) formula: 5.66 lbs. of propane = 1 gal of gasoline. All propane runtime is for 20 lbs. propane tank (4.7 gallons).
- Unlike many other sites, we actually tried to find out information about each of the above requirements. However, we are human and are therefore capable of the odd oversight or mistake. Please let us know if you spot any missing or erroneous values so that we can fix them.
About the Manufacturer
Firman Power Equipment is a business with a recent but reputable history in the power equipment sector. It was founded in 1999. The Arizona-based business provides a vast array of goods, including power tools, automotive equipment, storage items, work clothing, but its assortment of generators of different shapes, sizes, and outputs stands out above the rest. Interestingly, Firman serves as a de facto distributor of China National Machinery Industry Corporation’s goods in the US and is a fully owned subsidiary of that business.
Warranty Information
A warranty covers the Firman H03652 for up to 3 years. This warranty may not cover all parts of the generator or may only cover certain parts. Check out Firman’s warranty policies if you want to know more about the warranty on a Firman generator. You can also call their customer service line at 1-844-FIRMAN1 (844-347-6261).
